March 4th Set as Release Date For John Horace
The man convicted of raping and impregnating a comatose woman in a nursing home back in the mid-90s will be released from state prison on Monday, March 4.

John Horace is a former Rochester nursing home worker convicted of sexual abuse and rape for impregnating the woman back in 1996.

The victim had been in a coma for a decade after a car crash. She gave birth to Horace's child and then died a year later in 1997.

Horace has been serving a 25-year prison sentence and became eligible for parole in 2004. He is expected to be on parole until July of 2021.

At his parole hearings, Horace said he impregnated the woman to help bring her out of the coma.

The child was being raised by maternal grandparents.
