Dansville Man Sentenced in Deadly DWI Crash
A Dansville man will spend the next one to three years in state prison in connection with a fatal drunk driving accident in 2012.
On Friday, a Livingston County judge sentenced 20-year-old Clayton Benedict for his role in a crash that killed 22-year-old Joshua Stiggins.
Benedict pleaded guilty last week to aggravated vehicular manslaughter, vehicular assault, and DWI.
Stiggins died when Benedict crashed his car last March in North Dansville. Deputies said he was drunk when he got behind the wheel.
