West Irondequoit District Passes I-Square Resolution
The West Irondequoit Board of Education passed a resolution Monday evening in support of the I-Square project. It's another step after a deal was struck Friday at a meeting held by local Assemblyman Joe Morelle.
The town board and the school district agreed to give developer Mike Nolan a 25-year PILOT program.
The Board of Education says it's supported the proposed new town center project.
Previous votes by the town gave the project a ten-year-plan in lieu of taxes agreement.
The town is expected to vote on the deal on February 19th.
Residents also voted Monday night to dissolve the town's Reserve fund.
