Record High Snowfall Friday
People all over Western New York are digging out Saturday morning after record breaking snowfall Friday.
Rochester broke a record for snowfall on Friday, February 8th. The National Weather Service recorded 10.1 inches in Rochester, breaking the old record of 8.7 inches set all the way back in 1895.
All the winter weather warnings and advisories have expired, but some light fluffy snow is continuing to fall.
The National Weather Service says the light snow combined with all the snow already on the ground will make for some slick road conditions.
They say you should count on extra time to get where you are going.
