Seneca Park Zoo Reaches Fundraising Goal for African Exhibit
The Seneca Park Zoo says it has met its $8 million goal needed for the exhibit “A Step Into Africa.”
The fundraising started in 2005 with the construction of a new elephant barn and yard. It continued with a watering hole for the elephants, a baboon exhibit and the lion exhibit.
It has been open to the public since last May.
