In honor of U.S. Armed Forces veterans, a wall inspired by philanthropist Philip Saunders is recognizing the Armed Forces for their contribution and sacrifice.

On Thursday, the dedication ceremony took place at the University of Rochester Medical Center in the Saunders Research Building. The wall will serve as a lasting reminder of gratitude to our armed forces.

The Saunders Research Building directly impacts veterans by committing to early detection and treatment. PTSD, spinal injuries and brain injuries can be diagnosed ahead of time. It allows extended study and collaboration to be possible.

"With the dedication of this wall, I would like to personally reaffirm our commitment, our team's commitment to researching ways to improve the lives of veterans with traumatic brain injuries, and I would like to call on others within the University and beyond to join us," said Dr. Jeffrey Bazarian.
