Sleeping Driver Leads to Tractor-Trailer Crash
Route 104 in Webster is all cleaned up after a tractor trailer filled with glass jars crashed early Thursday morning.

The crash happened just after midnight in the westbound lanes of Route 104 near 250.

Firefighters in Webster say the driver of the truck fell asleep at the wheel, causing his truck to go off an embankment and land in the yard of a house.

The roof of the truck was torn off and thousands of glass jars shattered.

The people who live in the home say it's the second vehicle that has crashed there and both times the vehicles have come to rest right in front of an angel statue in the yard.

The Webster fire chief said the driver was remorseful and is just thankful no one was hurt.
