Two Children and Bus Driver Checked Out at Hospital Following Crash in Avon
Two children and a bus driver were sent to the hospital Thursday after a car crashed into the back of a school bus in Avon.
Police say an Avon School Bus was stopping in front of a house when it was rear-ended by car driven by 33-year-old Joseph L. Szwaczkowski of Perry.
The bus driver was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for a neck injury, as well as a 12-year-old and 9-year-old for head and neck pain.
Szwaczkowski was ticketed for following too closely.
