Many gathered at Mulconrey's Pub in Fairport to welcome Bardreau home from Russia. The Assistant Captain helped team USA defeat Sweden for the gold medal.

"This was actually a surprise here, they caught me off guard here. I thought I was just coming to dinner with my mom. But then it's awesome to see my Fairport friends, they supported me the whole way. And obviously friends and family and some of my old
coaches. It's just unbelievable," Bardreau said.

The 19-year-old is currently a sophomore forward at Cornell University.
