26-year-old Staff Sergeant Nicholas Reid passed away at a hospital in Germany December 13th.

According to his obituary, calling Hours will be held this Friday at 12 to 3 p.m and from 6-9 p.m. at Fowler Funeral Home at 340 West Ave Brockport.

A funeral service with full military honors will be held Saturday morning at 11:30 at the Father's House at 715 Paul Road in Chili.

Reid was hurt in an IED explosion in southern Afghanistan December 9th.

He graduated from Brockport High School in 2004 and attended The College at Brockport.
