The case against a man charged in connection with a fatal hit and run in in Geneva last weekend is now headed to a grand jury.
Michael Foulkrod, 44, is charged with second degree murder for striking and killing 77-year old Karl Peter Grune.
Police say Foulkrod attacked and choked a woman near South Main Street and Pulteney Park. Investigators say as he was driving away, he hit and killed Grune, who was walking down a sidewalk on Elm Street.
Hobart and William Smith College says Grune worked in languages and audio-visual at the college. He retired in 1998.
