Clerk Accused of Stealing Money From Wayne County Surrogate's Court
A Canandaigua woman faces official misconduct and petit larceny charges after State Police say she stole from the Wayne County Surrogate's Court, where she worked.
Troopers announced the arrest of 43-year-old Barbara LoTemple on Wednesday.
Police say she stole less than $1,000 from August to October of this year. LoTemple is employed as the court's Chief Clerk.
She was ordered to the Wayne County Jail with bail set at $500 cash.
