Troopers say 89-year-old Harold Fisher of Palmyra died when the truck he was driving collided with another car on Route 31 in the town of Palmyra just before 6 p.m. Monday. Police say Fisher was driving in the wrong lane.

The passenger in Fisher's car, 86-year-old Dorothy Fisher, was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital. She is listed in guarded condition.

The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
