Hundreds came out for services around Newtown, Connecticut, to remember the victims of the shooting.
At one services, so many people attended that there was an overflow outside of the church.
Everyone gathering hoped to find some measure of comfort and start the healing process following this tragedy.
Twenty-six candles were lit outside of one church, remembering the victims; 20 of whom were elementary school children.
Groups of people were walking through the town Friday night, gathering on lawns and in front of buildings while holding hands and lighting candles.
Many people also traveled to Newtown from out of state, to lend their support for the grieving community.
