Rochester Man Faces Murder Charges in Alaska
An Army specialist from Rochester faces charges in Alaska. He's accused of shooting and killing his wife in Alaska.
A TV station there reports David Lopez, 24, is charged with first and second degree murder, terroristic threatening and resisting arrest after police say he fatally shot his wife, Sara Lopez.
He's also accused of threatening to kill social workers who took his daughter after a report of child abuse.
Court documents say police in East Anchorage got a call from Lopez saying he thought he shot his wife. Sara Lopez died at the scene.
Police say they found several weapons in his home including an AK-47 style rifle.
