Well-Known URMC Researcher Dies at 73
Rochester's medical community is mourning the death of a pioneer in infectious disease research.
Dr. Caroline Breese Hall, an internationally recognized expert in pediatric infectious diseases, passed away on Monday.
A spokesperson for the University of Rochester Medical Center said Dr. Hall died at her Brighton home after an illness.
Dr. Hall's research focused on virology, especially respiratory and herpes.
Dr. Hall died at the age of 73.
