Man Sentenced on Child Pornography Charges
A Brighton man was sentenced to jail time Wednesday after being convicted for creating child pornography.
Mohamed Nazir Ahmad, 58, was sentenced to 36 months in prison. That sentence begins after the five years that he is currently serving for criminal sexual act.
Ahmad was arrested in 2011 for having a camera with videos of him sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
According to the Brighton Police Department, Ahmad was a translator with the Department of Defense.
