Webster police announced the arrest of woman wanted for a series of business robberies in the area, including two from Saturday night.

Police say Barbara Cotie, 55, of Webster, armed with a long gun, tried to rob the Kittleberger Florist on North Avenue late Saturday afternoon. She was unsuccessful and ran away.

Not even six hours later, police say Cotie robbed a man inside the Pizza Hut on Empire Boulevard just before eleven o'clock. Cotie allegedly displayed a shotgun with a pistol grip.

Based on a description, police spotted Cotie driving on Ridge Road where she was
pulled over and arrested. Investigators say she matched the description of a woman who robbed Mark's Pizzeria earlier last week.

Police added that they recovered items from the Cotie's house taken in robberies in both Webster and Walworth.

She was arraigned in Penfield Town Court and charged with Robbery. Cotie was remanded to the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
