Orleans County Corrections Officer Accused of Misconduct
An Orleans County Sheriff's Correction Officer was arrested Thursday afternoon after accusations of misconduct while on-duty.

Charles E Parker Junior, 47, of Knowlesville is charged for two alleged cases of misconduct in the Orleans County Jail in October and November.

The seven-year veteran Correction Officer is accused of having inappropriate conduct with a female inmate in the jail. He's also accused of giving money to the sister of a different inmate, which police say was then used to post her bail.

Parker was ordered to give up his weapons after an order of protection was issued for those involved.
