While most students are doing their thing on the SUNY Brockport campus, Connor McJury is doing his own.
"I like to life weights, mainly," he said. "Obviously, run, bike."
"They've got all sorts of cardio. They've got everything around here."
Staying fit is important to the exercise science major.
"I worked out on and off until after my senior year of football. That's when I really started to get into it."
"Just been going ever since."
Six days a week.
"One or two body parts a day, then some abs or cardio."
A strong physique isn't the only thing that drives McJury. At the start of the fall semester, he sent a video to a competition, sponsored by Men's Fitness and Muscle and Fitness magazines called "Fit Man on Campus."
"I just signed up for it, not thinking anything was going to come out of it."
Connor made the top 16 finalists, then through voting the top eight, and now, top four.
"It's really got a little of everything. I just think they're really trying to test everyone's well-rounded physicality."
When McJury first submitted his video, he thought it might look good on his resume. He hopes to have a fitness-related career once he graduates. He never thought he would get this far.
"I was surprised. I didn't think I'd make it. But it was pretty cool so, I stuck with it."
Contest or not, McJury would still be working out here at Brockport's Fitness Center, six days a week, like always.
"It's fun, and it's easy. You just gotta stick with it and try to be healthy."
Winning, which would include online photos, prizes, and not to mention bragging rights, which would really pump him up.
"It would be awesome, just kind of validation for all my hard work and all the effort I've put into this."
