Seven teenagers were injured after a a pickup truck crashed in Ontario County Tuesday night. It happened on Pond Road in the town of Bloomfield shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Deputies say the pick up lost control at a curve, went off the road, and rolled over. Several teens were thrown from the truck.

Five of the victims were taken to Strong Hospital; another two to FF Thompson in Canandaigua.

Investigators say speed appeared to be a factor.

"I know if you're approaching from this side, going northeast, the suggested speed is 35 because of the curve. And I would assume that there's a sign on the other sign coming to the southwest saying 35. The vehicle appeared to be doing well over 55," said Lt. John Storer of the Ontario County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say the driver does have a license and did have permission to be in the truck.

None of the passengers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

All of the victims are from Bloomfield. The superintendent of Bloomfield Schools says counselors will be available to students.

Jessica Henry and Joelle Henry, both 17, and 13-year-old Meagan Henry are in guarded condition. Sixteen-year-old Morgan Henry was treated and released.

Nineteen-year-old Alexander Brown and 18-year-old Joshua Bock were also treated and released. Fifteen-year-old Haley Dewey is in satisfactory condition.
