One crash was on Route 390 near Rush West Road. Sheriff's deputies say an SUV heading southbound on Route 390 hit some black ice on the bridge and slid off into a ditch.

The driver was trapped in the car for a bit before firefighters were able to get him out.

He was taken to Strong Hospital with what are considered to be non-life threatening injuries.

Officials remind drivers to be extra cautious on the roads as the winter weather begins.
