Ground Officially Broken on New RTS Transit Center

A groundbreaking ceremony was held Tuesday for the new RTS Transit Center.
The new center will provide an enclosed facility for its customers. It will span an entire city block on Mortimer Street between South Clinton Avenue and St. Paul Streets.
The project will create about 400 construction-related jobs, and RTS plans to hire 50 more people.
The Transit Center is scheduled to open in mid-2015.
