Canandaigua Teacher Faces Additional Charges
A Canandaigua school teacher already accused of having a sexual relationship with a teenage student now faces additional charges.
The Ontario County Sheriff's Office charged 44-year-old Lisa Footer of Manchester with endangering the welfare of a child after a joint investigation with the Canandaigua Police Department.
Authorities arrested Footer earlier this week for allegedly having sexual contact with a 16-year-old boy in the parking lot of a South Main Street business.
Footer is charged with sexual abuse, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.
Footer remains suspended from Canandaigua Academy.
