A Seneca Falls man was arrested and charged Wednesday with receipt and possession of child pornography.

Lawrence Higgins, 61, is accused of ordering and receiving child pornography DVDs between November 2008 and March 2011.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, the DVDs were sent to his home, and he also possessed thousands of images and hundreds of hours of video on his computer and hard drive.

If convicted, Higgins faces a minimum of 10 years to 30 years in prison and up to $500,000 in fines for both charges, due to previous convictions.

He is scheduled to be back in court on November 19th.
