Energy Conference Discusses New Industry Opportunities
Thousands of jobs are expected to be created in the battery and energy storage industry in the next decade.
With that in mind, a statewide group is holding an energy storage technology conference in Rochester Wednesday.
The New York Battery and Energy Storage Technology Consortium or "BEST," aims to establish New York State as a global leader in the field.
More than 15 experts in energy storage will talk about research being done at world class universities and also the role of BEST's proposed Commercialization Center in the Eastman Business Park.
