Veterans Day is celebrated every year on November 11th to honor all military veterans.

Although the actual holiday is Sunday, the federal observance is Monday.

Locally there are several services taking place to honor our veterans.

A service was held at the Rochester War Memorial Sunday morning and the town of Brighton held a ceremony Sunday afternoon.

Another ceremony will be held at the Greater Rochester Vietnam Veterans Memorial at 6 o'clock Sunday night.
