The Monroe County Water Authority has a new Deputy Executive Director.

Pittsford town supervisor Bill Carpenter will take over the post Novemeber 26th.

Carpenter has been Pittsford Town Supervisor since 1994. Carpenter says he's sad to leave his current post.

"Pittsford's pride in govenment is that it stresses governance over politics, and I think that's one of our key successes. Each and every day delivering the services our residents want," Carpenter said.

Carpenter is filling a position with the Water Authority that's been vacant for years.
