His father is now speaking out about forgetting the shooter and remembering the good.

"We're already moving into celebration mode for Alex. No one will forget him. We've already forgot who took care of this . Then we went home, got the Jamesons out, got a cigar, Van Morrison on, and began to celebrate our son," said Alex's Father, Tom Sullivan.

Alex grew up in Colorado, but his parents are Rochester natives and most of his extended family, including twenty cousins still in the Rochester area.
