The Seneca Park Zoo hosted Party Madagascar Saturday night.
The fundraising event, aimed at adults over 21, helps to support conservation and education programs for the tropical island of Madagascar.
Larry Sorel, the Seneca Park Zoo Director, said, "It's a core part of the mission of the zoo, conservation, conserving wild habitat and wild animals. So we're really pleased that we can
do this kind of thing."
Co-founders of the Madagascar Fauna Group were also present to provide information on how to preserve the Indian Ocean island.
