Two men are recovering after a double shooting in the city late Tuesday night. It happened around 10 p.m. on Genesee Street, near Magnolia Street.
Police say they were called to St. Mary's Hospital, where they found two men with gunshot wounds.
Police say a 26-year-old Rochester man was shot shot several times in his upper torso and a 25-year-old Greece man was hit in his lower torso.
Investigators say the men were shot while in a parked car, then drove themselves to St. Mary's. They were later transported to Strong Hospital.
Both victims' injuries are considered to be non-life threatening.
"Our investigation revealed that they were sitting in a parked vehicle somewhere on Genesee Street when several shots were fired, at which time they left the scene and transported themselves to St. Mary's Hospital," said Lt. Michael Perkowski of the Rochester Police Department.
The victims names have not been released, but police say they are both 26-year-old city residents.
Police have not made any arrests.
