Family members and friends gathered Tuesday evening to remember Airistine Gibson.
The 72-year-old died in a house fire at her Bay Street home July 1st.
Those who gathered stood outside of the home, remembering Airistine and her work within the community.
Her sons Anthony and Tyrone Gibson say they took care of their mother for the past couple of years. She was bedridden after a stroke.
The two said they did all they could to try and save her.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
