You might notice a change to your on-screen cable guide when you turn on your television Wednesday morning.
Time Warner Cable is introducing its new and improved channel guide to digital cable customers in the Rochester area.
The company says the guide is designed to be more intuitive, so the 'start over' and 'look back' features are easier to use.
Customers will be able to search for their favorite shows by genre, actors, and category.
The new guide display takes into account customer feedback the company has received.
"This actually is a good thing. It’s helping them be able to find shows better. Their shows will be organized by categories. But the biggest overall change with the on-screen guide is the change in the color pallet, as well as the functionality," said Stephanie Salanger, Time Warner Cable’s Communications Manager.
