A 21-year-old Rochester man was fatally shot outside a bar on Monroe Avenue late last night. Police say it happened on Monroe and South Union Street after a fight broke out inside the bar called the Bug Jar. YNN reporter Wendy Mills joins us now with more on what happened.

Rochester police say this was a chaotic scene, a fight that included some 100 people.

Authorities say that it started inside the Bug Jar, a popular live music venue here, and that the fight ended up outside on Monroe Ave and Union Street.

When police arrived around midnight, officers found a man shot in the upper torso. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Police say the 21-year-old was shot outside the bar and collapsed down the street.

This is cell phone video taken by someone who didn't want to be identified. He was here and started recording the scuffle just seconds before the shots were fired.

One of those shots hit and killed a 21-year-old.

Lt. Scott Peters of the Rochester Police said, "There was a rap concert inside the Bug Jar. There were two factions going back and forth which started into a large brawl which spilled out into the parking lot across the street and we have a report of about three shots fired in the parking lot and about 100 people involved in a fight and so obviously our victim was part of this crowd."

Right now no one has been arrested for this homicide, lots of people interviewed, police urging witnesses to the shooting to let them know what happened. Authorities say a second man was taken to the hospital suffering from an asthma attack, he is expected to okay.

The victim's name has not yet been released.
