Pedestrian Struck and Killed on Seneca Avenue

Emergency crews responded to a fatal accident on Ridge Road and Seneca Avenue just after 10 a.m. Thursday.
Police say a man was attempting to cross Ridge Road when he was struck by a car traveling north on Seneca Avenue attempting to turn onto Ridge Road.
Police say the man was pinned under the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses say it appeared the man had fallen in the roadway and was attempting to get up when he was struck.
The man's name has not been released but police say he is in his 50s.
