A woman's planned outing to run an errand went awry when the vehicle she was driving reportedly crossed two yards and crashed into a neighbor's garage.

It happened on Biscayne Drive in Greece on Saturday.

Greece police and North Greece firefighters responded to the call.

Sgt. Ryan Parina of Greece Police said, "The driver was pulling out of the driveway in reverse and experienced a, we think mechanical error or a driver error which caused the car to accelerate in reverse and she crossed a couple yards and ended up hitting the garage of the home that's right here behind us at 247 Biscayne."

Charles Hahn, who was sitting in his family room when the SUV crashed into his garage, said, "I heard a big bang, I thought the spring on the garage door broke, and I opened up the side door of the garage; I seen the car in my garage."

The driver, Daisy Cruckshank, told police she was leaving to run an errand when the incident happened.

No one was hurt in the incident.
