According to the Sheriff's Office, three men were in a small canoe that capsized while fishing.

One of the men was able to swim to shore and get help.

The other two were clinging to the boat as it drifted along the current until they were rescued by a bystander in a row boat.

Todd Belanger, 33 of Washington DC, was taken to Geneva General Hospital with symptoms of hypothermia.

The other two men were treated at the scene and released.
