Wayne County Sheriff's deputies have identified a driver killed in a morning crash on Route 104.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the intersection of Routes 104 and 14 in Sodus just before 7 a.m. Friday.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office said a tractor-trailer and car hit head-on.
Deputies say the car, driven by 36-year-old Michael Hood of Macedon, pulled into the path of the truck for an unknown reason. Hood was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the rig was not injured.
Investigators are looking into the cause of the crash, including whether Hood could have suffered a medical issue.
