U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer announced Thursday he is nominating Frank Geraci Jr. to serve as a judge on the United States District Court for Western New York.

In addition to his county judgeship, Geraci has served as a Rochester City Court judge, Assistant District Attorney, and assistant U.S. Attorney.

Former Monroe County D.A. Mike Green was originally nominated, but the Senate failed to vote on the nomination and the White House did not re-submit that nomination.
