Two Killed in Parma Crash
Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies said a husband and wife died in a crash along the Lake Ontario State Parkway. It happened in the Town of Parma around 4 p.m. Saturday.
Monroe County Sheriff's deputies said James DePinto, 61, of Greece and his wife Patricia Trabold-DePinto, 57, were headed northbound on Route 259 when they crashed into an eastbound Chevy Tahoe.
Deputies say the truck plowed into the side of the car and then fled the scene.
The Tahoe, which police say was driven by Stephen Divito of Rochester, then lost control on Huffer Road and hit a tree.
Victor G. Burke, 50, Divito's passenger was reported in guarded condition at Strong Memorial Hospital Sunday afternoon.
A Monroe County Sheriff's Office spokesperson said Divito was arraigned at Strong Memorial Hospital, where he is recovering from injuries.
He faces charges of DWI and leaving the scene of an accident.
He was ordered held in lieu of $5,000 cash, $10,000 bond.
