Major League Spring Training gets underway in a little over two weeks. For one local player, that can't come soon enough.

Already in Florida preparing for the start of spring training, Irondequoit's Cito Culver is headed to his first Major League Camp with the New York Yankees in Tampa.

A first round draft pick of the Yankees in 2010, Culver is one of 84 players invited to big league camp, which begins February 15th.

The 20-year-old switch hitting infielder is entering his third professional season. He spent last year in the Class A South Atlantic League with Charleston.
