Chandler to Injured Reserve
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The season is over for Scott Chandler. The Bills placed the tight end on injured reserve Monday after he suffered a knee injury against the Dolphins.
Chan Gailey said the torn ACL requires surgery and could put Chandler in jeopardy to make it back for the beginning of next season.
Chandler had six touchdown receptions this season, tied for the most in club history. He caught six TD's last season as well.
Gailey said reserve tight end Dorin Dickerson's leg injury was not as serious as first thought, and he could practice Wednesday. Meanwhile, Gailey ruled safety D'Norris Searcy out for the season finale against the Jets with a groin injury.
