Dan Dawson's debut with the Knighthawks was impressive but Toronto won the last of two Rochester preseason games.
Dawson, acquired Friday, had a goal and four assists. Craig Point and Johnny Powless had two goals each.
Rochester opens the season January 5th against the Washington Stealth in Seattle.
