Coming off that strong defensive performance on Thursday night, this is almost a second bye week for the Bills. They'll have 10 days between games, including a weekend off - away from the facility. Fans are hopeful that the extra days can be beneficial, with more time to game plan before next Sunday's matchup at Indianapolis.
"Going into the game, for them and for us, guys are beat up," Ryan Fitzpatrick told the media on Monday. "That is just part of playing an NFL season. To win a Thursday night game, to now be able to rest Friday, Saturday and Sunday, get an extra day of practice. It is an advantage for a team that plays on Thursday night for their next game. So hopefully we can take advantage of it."
"I think they should be really rested and refreshed coming back in here Monday, and getting ready for the next ball game," added Chan Gailey. "It will be a tough ball game that we've got to go down to Indy to play, but I think they'll be ready."
The Bills visit the Colts on Sunday.
