Amerks Lose Close Game on the Road

Rochester took a road trip to play the Binghamton Senators Saturday evening.
Amerks struck first, just before the 12 minute mark in the first period Kevin Porter put the Amerks up 1-0, his fifth of the season.
In the second, the Senators tied it up at 1-1 when defenseman Frederik Cleasson slapped one from the blue line which was deflected for a goal by Derek Grant.
Toward the end of the second, Spencerport native Shane Prince got his first goal of the season. Amerks down 2-1.
Amerks rallied to even things up in the third, when Amerk Evan Rankin scored off of a tip-in.
But, Binghamton got the lead back shortly after off of a goal from Grant, his second of the night.
Senators win 3-2.
Amerks return to the Blue Cross Arena November 23, where they face off against the Albany Devils.
