The Triple-A All-Star game is set for Wednesday night in Buffalo. The Red Wings' lone representative is shortstop Pedro Florimon.
A first-time All-Star at the Triple-A level, the 25-year-old came on strong before the break with 12 hits in the last 10 games, batting over .300 during that stretch.
"This is a situation where I have to work hard everyday. Every time when I go out, I'm just thinking about what I need. That's why the team put there in the All-Stars, so I'm excited," Florimon said.
