After losing six straight, the Rochester Red Wings entered Sunday's game with wins in four of their last five.

The Gwinnett Braves built an early lead. Stefan Gartrell hit his 10th home run of the season to center with two outs.

Still in the first, Drew Sutton hit one down the right field line to score another.

In the bottom of the first, Rochester cut the lead in half, Wilkin Ramirez singled to left scoring Clete Thomas.

But it wasn't enough, Rochester loses 2-1.

The teams split the first two of the four game set.
