Andy Pettitte to Pitch Sunday in Rochester
Yankee pitcher Andy Pettitte will start for the Empire State Yankees at Frontier Field on Sunday afternoon.
Pettitte has been with the club for the past several weeks after ending his retirement.
The game was originally scheduled to be played in Batavia, but organizers say they are moving the game to Rochester because of Pettitte's appearance.
The game could be the pitchers final tune-up in AAA ball before returning to the majors.
The game is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Sunday vs. Pawtucket.
The Yankees farm club is playing the majority of its home games in Rochester as stadium renovations are done at the club's home park in Scranton Wilkes-Barre.
