"The cool thing is it's actually enabling you freedom with your device," says Kyle Ballarta from LifeProof. "You can go snorkeling with it, you can take it in the shower and text, you can watch movies in the bathtub."

Moshi Versa Cover for iPad, $60

On dry land there are lots of iPad covers that convert into stands, but the Moshi Versa Cover allows you to stand your device in basically whatever position you'd like and it makes you feel like an origami master while doing it.

"Similar to the Apple smart cover it can fold, the front's cover can fold to give it different standing angles," said Michael Leonard of Moshi. While we're on the subject of typing, the Touchfire brings a greater sense of touch to your iPad's virtual keyboard. Just lay it on top of your screen and, just like that, you can feel the virtual keys.

"It rolls up into the cover when you're not using it and you just put it on the surface and you can type pretty much as fast as you can type with a laptop," said Steven Isaac of Touchfire. "It even allows you to type on your iPad without looking."
