Construction Continues on Windstream Building
While many people are off Monday for Presidents Day, construction is continuing on a Rochester building.
Crews worked on the new Windstream building at the former Midtown site on North Clinton Avenue downtown. Ground was broken on the building in March of last year.
Windstream president and CEO Jeff Gardner said the company chose Rochester for its IT and telecommunications professionals.
Windstream plans to house up to 335 employees on two of the building's three floors.
The new facility is scheduled to open late this summer.
